New Surroundings
This postcard series was born out of a sort of homesickness as well as a love for snail mail. Moving away from my friends and family for college brought me a need to share my new world with them in a tangible way. With this idea in mind, I set about my new surroundings and photographed scenes that were an everyday experience for me. Each of these photographs became a postcard that helped me to bridge the gap between old and new.
